Summary
The activity of cl4-labelled "Bayluscide" in citrus seedlings, after 12 days of treatment, was 50 times lower than that in the surrounding soil. The uptake of radioactive material by the plants amounted to 0.003-0.01% of the applied molluscicide, yielding a concentration of 0.03 ppm per leaf. It is concluded that "Bayluscide" does not affect citrus trees even when the concentration applied exceeds the recommended dose.
