Summary
The 2 polyamines were found in seeds of all the 57 species examined, and in most of them the spermine to spermidine ratio was below unity. However, in 3 of the 5 genera belonging to the Phaseoleae tribe of the Papilionaceae, and including Phaseolus, the ratio exceeded one. The species studied included several ornamental and vegetable plants. -1st. bot, Univ. Bologna.
